Saxon Engineers are highly experienced in interpreting the operational requirements of the designers and promoters of theme and leisure parks to achieve their desired effects.

The solution described in the photograph above incorporates two heavy duty scissor lift platforms mounted to each side of a virtual reality space ship ride (Borneo), to provide raised easy access for visitors using the entrance and exit doors on each side of the ship.

When the scissor lift platforms lower to ground level, the ride can begin, the space ship is then raised, lowered and gyrated by the hydraulic rams mounted under the supporting platform This sequence of operation achieves a high utilisation factor.

Saxon has built, or assisted in building, Theme Park Rides which incorporate "realistic travel sensation" lifting or rolling movements in countries from Sweden in Europe through to Korea and Borneo.
